RENTALS

The rental for up to two people is £350 per week, (£50 per night) for May, June and July. For the months of August, September, October and November the rate is £385 per week, (£55 per night), and for December, January, February, March & April the rate is £490 per week (£70 per night).

• Up to two additional people can be accommodated in the apartment for the additional charge of £10 per person, per night.

• A non-refundable deposit of one third of the total cost of the rental must be paid on booking.

• The full balance of the rental must be paid at least one month before the start of the rental period. This amount may be refunded in the event of cancellation of the booking up to two weeks prior to the scheduled start of the rental. For later cancellations, any refund will be at our sole discretion and we do not bind ourselves to make any such refund on late cancellations. Cancellations should be in writing and sent to us by post, the date of receipt shall be the date of notice.

Late booking discounts are available from time to time. Please e-mail your requested dates.

ON ARRIVAL IN BARBADOS

Taxis are available at the airport. The fare from the airport is controlled and should be about BDS$60 for a car and BDS$70 for a van to Golden View – You should ask before undertaking your journey. There is no formal control over the return taxi fare to the airport. There is always a line of taxis waiting for the bigger flights to arrive, with most expecting the west coast as destinations. It is sometimes possible to share a taxi van with another couple if there's room, of course. For info - the Bajan Dollar is fix-linked to the US Dollar at BD$2 = US$1.

DEPARTURE

You must vacate the apartment by noon on the day of your departure. If you have a later flight, you may usually leave your bags in the reception, ask at the desk. You can change into travelling clothes if desired in the rest rooms in the foyer when you are ready to depart.

We have always found our holidays in Barbados to be very relaxing and the Bajan people warm and welcoming. Oh, and it never rains - that's liquid sunshine. But seriously, you are very unlucky to have a day of rain - when the rain does come it is usually at night or just short showers.
